Water Community Women Achievers Honored
Some long-time as well as some newer friends of the WRRC were recently named 2024 Women Achievers of Arizona. Honorees of the water community include Terri Sue C. Rossi, Vice President of Water Resources, Arizona Water Company; Chelsea McGuire, Assistant Director, External Affairs, Water Infrastructure Finance Authority; and Vineetha Kartha, Colorado River Programs Manager, Central Arizona Project. Also honored was Adelita Grijalva, the current chair of the Pima County Board of Supervisors, who, along with much else, deals with the county’s water, wastewater, and environmental matters in her capacity as Supervisor for District 5 (where the WRRC is located). Whether collaborating on projects, providing advice, or presenting at WRRC events, the people who make our work possible have our profound gratitude. We welcome the opportunity to join with the Arizona Capitol Times/State Affairs in applauding the “extraordinary achievements and profound impact on our communities” of these women and all the 2024 Women Achievers.
