Megdal was the featured speaker for the third and last of the Spring 2025 Tumamoc Talks lecture series, Making Agriculture More Sustainable in Arid Lands, held at the Desert Laboratory on Tumamoc Hill in Tucson, AZ. WRRC Requests Input for Upper Verde Watershed Water History Timeline March 28, 2025 On March 12 and 13, 2025, members of the Prescott and Chino Valley communities braved the sleet, wind, and snow to share their experiences and knowledge of the Upper Verde Watershed. These two participatory workshops were part of a joint effort by the WRRC, Yavapai County Extension, and The Nature Conservancy to create an interactive StoryMap illustrating the history of the Upper Verde Watershed.
