WRRC Welcomes Two New Admin Staff And Bids Farewell to Another

The WRRC is pleased to introduce and welcome two new staff members to its administrative team. Jennifer Rascon is the new Business Manager for the ENVS/WRRC Shared Business Center and comes to us from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, where she held the title of Budget-Finance Coordinator. Jennifer has been at UArizona for nearly 17 years, working first for Development and Scholarships and then moving over to work for an academic unit. She has two grown children and enjoys traveling with family and working on projects around the house during her downtime.

Dionne Johnson is the newly hired HR Administrator for ENVS/WRRC and says she is “excited to join the team” and is “looking forward to working with everyone soon.” Dionne attended UArizona as an undergraduate student years ago, where she received a BS degree in Retail and Consumer Sciences. She began her Human Resources career working in retail more than 13 years ago and has worked at UArizona for a combined total of eight years, both in the Chemistry and Biochemistry department and the School of Animal Comparative and Biomedical Sciences. Dionne enjoys reading and says she almost always carries a book with her “in case there is a chance I can get in a page or two.” Welcome, Jennifer and Dionne!

Though we’ve gained two new staff members, unfortunately, we must say goodbye to another. Becky Murguia has worked as the ENVS/WRRC Shared Business Center’s accountant since August 2022. We appreciate all her help over the past year and wish Becky nothing but the best.
