WRRC 2025 Pre-conference Workshop

On the morning of May 20, 2025, immediately preceding Day 1 of the WRRC 2025 Annual Conference, we are hosting a pre-conference workshop, Better Listening to Help Transform Water Conflicts. The 2.5-hour workshop will be led by Dr. Aaron Wolf, who will discuss the conflict and cooperation surrounding shared water resources internationally and throughout the western US and introduce participants to the processes of conflict transformation, including lessons from western and more holistic models of dialogue. Examples of overcoming obstacles will be drawn from a variety of locations and scales. Wolf, who will also give the opening keynote at the conference, is a professor of geography at Oregon State University’s College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, and will draw from his research and teaching focus on water conflict prevention and transformation.

This in-person workshop is an optional add-on to conference registrants only and space is limited, so reserve your spot today!
